Terms of Service

Popcorn is available to people aged 18 or over who are residents of India. By using the app you confirm you meet these requirements. Some prize draws may exclude certain states or regions where the law requires — see section 4.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details secure. Provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. One account per person; accounts are personal and not transferable.

You earn points by completing fan challenges — for example watching trailers, sharing posts, following channels, and referring friends. We may verify completion and may withhold or reverse points for tasks that aren’t genuinely completed, or that involve fraud, bots, or manipulation.

Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or transferred. We may adjust how points are earned or expire on reasonable notice.

Points can be converted into entries for prize draws. No payment is required to enter and no purchase is necessary. Each draw has its own rules — eligibility, entry period, prize, number of winners, and how winners are selected — published with that draw.

Draws are void where prohibited. Specific mechanics, excluded states, and any tax handling will be confirmed per draw. [Per-draw rules: skill vs chance, excluded states, GST/tax — confirm with counsel]

Don’t misuse Popcorn: no fraud, bots, automated scripts, fake accounts, or attempts to game challenges or draws; no interfering with the app’s security or operation; no unlawful, infringing, or abusive activity. We may suspend or remove access for breaches.

Some challenges involve third-party platforms and content. We don’t control those services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. We’re not responsible for third-party platforms or for any content you encounter there.

Popcorn, including its name, design, and content, is owned by Redacted Studios Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the app. Film titles, posters, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

You can stop using Popcorn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and other users. On termination, unused points and pending entries are forfeited unless the law requires otherwise.

Popcorn is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular prize will be available. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redacted Studios Pte. Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Popcorn. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law — Singapore or India, confirm], and disputes will be handled in the courts of [venue — confirm with counsel], without affecting any mandatory protections you have under local law.
